In order to keep everyone safe, we have a few extra rules for audience members at Daneside Theatre. We expect that
these will apply from 21st May until 21st June at the earliest.
If you have any questions, please get in touch via email to firstname.lastname@example.org, or ask a steward at the event.
Tickets will be sold exclusively by Congleton Information Centre to ensure best spacing of seating.
There will be limited numbers in the auditorium, with space on all 4 sides of groups.
The Bar will not be open until at least the 21st June, depending on legislation.
We require all audience members to wear a mask whilst in the building. We are unable to accommodate patrons
with a medical exemption at this time.
Please do not attend if you have any symptoms of COVID-19, or have tested positive, or if anyone in your
household has symptoms or has tested positive for COVID-19, and if you develop symptoms while in the building,
please leave at the earliest opportunity.
Daneside Theatre reserve the right to refuse entry or ask you to leave if should you show symptoms of COVID-19.
The theatre will open 30 minutes prior to the film time.
Entrance to the building is via the front entrance. We will scan the barcode on your ticket at the entrance so
we know who is attending. You are advised to “Check in” to the building using the NHS app as well. There are
copies of the NHS QR code around the building. We will aim to get you into the theatre and seated as quickly as
possible, but you may need to queue outside briefly. Please wear appropriate clothing for this eventuality.
Our front of house toilets are not in use because of social distancing. The only toilets available are in the s
mall foyer at the bottom right of the auditorium, but are available throughout the film. Please observe distancing
if queueing for the toilets.
There are hand sanitiser points at various points in the building. Please use them on entry, and as required.
When you enter the building, please go directly to your seats, observing the social distancing floor signs. There
will be no waiting inside the building. If you need to meet friends or family, please wait outside.
There should be no more than 2 groups on any row, so you will not have to pass anyone else to get to an aisle.
At the end of the show, once the credits roll, we will bring up the house lights. You will then be able to put
on your masks, and leave via the doors at the bottom on the auditorium. Once you leave your seats, please leave
as quickly as possible, but ensure social distancing. Please do not wait in the narrow corridors, until you get
to the car parks, and do not block other peoples egress.
If you are not able to comply with these rules, please return your ticket for a full refund.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding in these difficult circumstances.
